Olivier Soula holds a PhD in Polymer Physico-Chemistry and an MBA. During the 8 years spent at Flamel Technologies, where he was Director of Research, he successfully led the development of Medusa, a sustained release platform for therapeutic proteins which was partnered with Bristol Myers Squibb (BMS).

In 2005, Olivier founded Adocia with his father, Gérard Soula, and his brother, Rémi Soula. Olivier has held successively the position of Director of Research and Development, Deputy Chief Executive Officer and then, Chief Executive Officer since 2023. He was instrumental in the signing of 4 major partnerships which represented more than 150 million dollars of revenue with Eli Lilly and with Tonghua Dongbao.

Olivier is co-author of more than 40 patents on protein delivery and has worked for nearly 30 years in the field of innovative insulin formulations.

Mathieu-William Gilbert began his career with KPMG and Sanofi Aventis, in internal control and auditing, before joining Novo Nordisk’s finance functions and being appointed CFO of Algeria and then of the Latin American region.

Afterward, he held the position of Vice President & General Manager for six Latin American countries, overseeing all Novo Nordisk activities in the region. His responsibilities included establishing the Obesity franchise and the commercial launch of Ozempic®.

Finally, Mathieu served as Vice-President Strategic Projects of International Commercial Operations at Novo Nordisk, based in Zurich.

Jeremy Benattar has 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry in sales, marketing, and corporate strategy.

Before joining Adocia, he held several positions in commercial and corporate development strategy at leading pharmaceutical companies such as Sanofi, AstraZeneca, Ethypharm, and Otsuka Pharmaceutical. In these roles, he led various projects involving the transformation of business models and  complex commercial organizations, alliance management, and mergers and acquisitions.

Dr. Martin Gaudier has 15 years of experience in the development of therapeutic peptides and proteins. He also has over 10 years of expertise in the pre-clinical and clinical development of insulins and treatments for metabolic diseases.

Before joining Adocia, he held research positions at the London Research Institute of Cancer Research UK.

Dr. Martin Gaudier holds an engineering diploma from Polytechnique Engineering school and a Doctorate in Biochemistry and Structural Biology.

Dr. You-Ping Chan has over 30 years of experience in peptide and protein formulation, drug delivery technologies, and CMC development.

Before joining Adocia, he held several senior management positions at Flamel Technologies (now Avadel), including Director of Chemistry, Director of Formulation Development and Analytical R&D, and Director of Project Management.

He holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Strasbourg, completed post-doctoral research in polymer science at MIT, and an Executive MBA from EmLyon Business School. He is named as inventor on more than 50 patents.
